Organisation of Eusoma

EUSOMA consists of the General Assembly, the supreme governing body composed of all members. The General Assembly elects the Executive Committee every three years.
The Executive Committee is responsible for the management of the Society and is committed to the implementation of the aims of the Society. The work of the Executive Committee is headed by the President, who is assisted in his work by the Past-President and the Treasurer.

The Society consists of full and honorary members, all of whom benefit from the scientific activities and publications of the society. The Society has members from most European and non-European countries interested in different aspects of breast disease.

The European Group for Breast Cancer Screening became part of EUSOMA in 2000.
EUSOMA's activities are co-ordinated by the secretariat's office, based in Florence, Italy.
